Terms of Use

Last updated: 11 June 2026 · Applies to the FAMIVO beta app and famivo.in

By creating an account or using FAMIVO you agree to these terms. FAMIVO is operated by Akshay H T (“we”, “us”). If you do not agree, please don’t use the app.

1. What FAMIVO is

FAMIVO is an organisational tool for families: medication schedules and reminders, dose records, health documents, appointments, and emergency information, shared within a family group with role-based access.

2. What FAMIVO is not (please read this one)

FAMIVO is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Always follow the guidance of a qualified doctor. Never start, stop, or change a medication based on anything in this app.
Do not rely on FAMIVO as your only safeguard for critical medication. Reminders are delivered through third-party notification services (Expo, Google) and may be delayed or fail due to network conditions, device settings, battery optimisation, or service outages. For life-critical medication, always keep an independent backup (alarm clock, caregiver routine, pill organiser).

3. Your account and your family group

4. Acceptable use

Don’t attempt to access other families’ data, probe or overload our systems, reverse-engineer the service, or use FAMIVO for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

5. Beta software

FAMIVO is in closed beta and provided as is. Features may change, break, or be removed; data structures may evolve. We work hard to protect your data (see the Privacy Policy), but we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation during beta.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the beta, including missed or delayed reminders (see section 2). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

7. Your content and data

Your family’s health data belongs to you. You grant us only the limited right to store and process it to operate the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can request deletion at any time.

8. Ending things

You can stop using FAMIVO and request account deletion whenever you like (email support@famivo.in during beta). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Karnataka, India.
